For me personally, the best way to true soul expression, is to play finger style on a classical guitar. I play an Alvarez Yari electric classical.
Here is what others have said about "Christmas, a guitarist's interpretation" :
Something of a new age stylist, Brad Dase isn't afraid
to plug in a few folk riffs where he feels they're warranted. The dramatic faux
spanish embellishments on We Three Kings reminded me of something I might hear
on a Joe Ely record. Elsewhere, such in the galloping groove on Chester
Township, one of Dase's own contemporary anthems, I briefly felt a sense of the
incredible lightness of being. Road music. I also liked his touch on What Child
Is This.
... But his virtuosity on the classic carols are what recommend this CD to
serious holiday and new age listeners. - christmasreviews.com
"Brad's style on this Christmas CD is light, contemporary and traditional, with backgrounds that gently complement his guitar without competing with it. The tracks vary from classic interpretations to ones with an upbeat flair and a gentle touch of jazz. I was fortunate to catch Brad performing live at my local Border's Bookstore, and I chose to add his CD to my music collection. I recommend this album to anyone who would enjoy having warm guitar instrumentals accompany their Christmas season." - Robert S., Royal Oak, Michigan
"I thoroughly enjoy my Christmas CD. It is uplifting
and delightful and puts a real joy in my day. It is
truly a blessing to listen to, not only at Christmas, but also all through the year. Thanks Brad for sharing
your God given talent with all of us!" - Gods Blessings, Janet S.,
